Youth Training Strings

Youth Training Strings is for string players working between Grade 3-5 standard.
If you don’t have your own instrument, please contact the Music Hub regarding hiring an instrument to use for the ensemble and to enable practice opportunities at home. Tutor led rehearsals looking at music from a wide range of genres will be rehearsed weekly, ready for performance at the end of each term.
This is an inclusive group who have lots of fun whilst developing the musicianship skills required to perform as part of an ensemble; gaining friendships and social links with like minded people and a diverse range of peers. Group members will have the opportunity to develop music skills learnt in lessons (peri and whole class) in a string orchestra and share these skills in a variety of performances throughout the year.

Availability: Saturday mornings, 10:00 – 12:00 am during term time
