Senior Strings

Senior Strings play orchestral music reflecting the wide range of styles with an emphasis placed on good ensemble playing.

If you don’t have your own instrument, please contact the Music Hub regarding hiring an instrument to use for the ensemble and to enable practice opportunities at home. Senior Strings offers opportunities for players to work together in an enjoyable atmosphere, studying and performing challenging and exciting orchestral repertoire at the highest possible standard. The ensemble performs three concerts a year (Winter, Spring and Summer), playing a wide range of string orchestra repertoire.
