Futures in Music: Creative Careers Conference

Futures in Music has been designed for students in Year 9 and above who are interested in or currently studying music. Each school can apply to bring a group of between 15-20 students.

Running between 9.30am-3.15pm, the day will include:

• Presentation from staff and students at ICMuS (Newcastle University) on pathways into studying music and career opportunities beyond
• Q&A panel and carousel of practical activities from music and creative industries specialists facilitated by Nicola Coaker of Nrthrn Baby Records
• Presentation from Jennifer Barrett (Founder) and Megan Savage (Digital Content Creator and Music Industry Specialist) from This is Creative Enterprise
• The opportunity to explore the campus at Newcastle University

There is no charge to North Tyneside and Newcastle secondary schools to attend this event.

Places will then be offered out to secondary schools in the wider region.
