Standing Upright – Creativity, Music, Production
April 26, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until July 12, 2023
Standing Upright is suitable for those aged 11-18. The project aims to develop a wide range of music production and arts-based skills and to build the confidence and creativity of each young person involved.
Standing Upright also provides opportunities to work in community and educational arts-based settings and to develop leadership, music production and art skills. Young people are encouraged to design and engage in their own arts-based project depending on their skills and interests with the support of like-minded musicians, artists and industry specialists. There are a wide range of musical and artistic paths to follow.
Standing Upright aims to meet and walk alongside each individual young person at whatever stage they are at on their creative journey. The project aims to enrich and spark interest in music and all art forms.
You can also listen to the latest music productions from young people on the project on their Soundcloud.
